WACO, Texas – The top two teams in the NCEA meet Saturday at the Willis Family Equestrian Center as No. 1 Baylor takes on No. 2 Kansas State at 10 a.m. The Bears enter the meet at 6-0 overall and 2-0 in Big 12 competition while the Wildcats are 5-0, and 1-0, respectively.

The No. 1 Baylor equestrian team will compete in their last home meet of the season against No. 2 Kansas State Saturday morning at the Willis Family Equestrian Center in Waco, Texas.

Baylor last competed Oct. 25 and took a win over No. 1 and reigning NCEA champion, Georgia. The win propelled the Bears to the top spot in the rankings. Kansas State is also undefeated this season and previously won against No. 8 Oklahoma State, Nov. 8. The Wildcats will stop in Fort Worth Friday to take on No. 5 TCU before heading to Waco.

In the 2013-2014 season the Bears and Wildcats competed twice, with both teams winning at home in a season split.

“We are No. 1 going against No. 2 it should be exciting. They are a good team, so we have to be on our game for sure,” said Baylor head coach Ellen White. “I don’t want the girls to be overconfident and thinking they are invincible, because they aren’t. K-State is a strong team. But, our girls are riding well, and they know what they need to do.“
