News Flash from Conifer Quarter Horses

Brian and Kim Brandreit of Conifer Quarter Horses, and Macs Good N Plenty, send out proud congratulations to a few of Macs’ offspring –

Ty Dyed and Shannon Vroegh

“Ty Dyed” does it again! What an awesome year this youngster has had winning over $ 14,000 in Futurity winnings so far.  Conifer Quarter Horses is pleased to announce that she had a very successful Reichert Pleasure Celebration, winning her 2 YO Open/Limited Stakes class as well as Reserve in the Intermediate/Open with her trainer, Shannon Vroegh. This 2 yr old filly began her show career by winning the Breeder’s Limited at the Tom Powers Futurity, then on to the NSBA World Championships where she won Reserve in both the BCF NSBA NP Western Pleasure, as well as Reserve in the Open Limited Western Pleasure, again with Shannon Vroegh as her pilot.  She is sired by Brandriet’s young stallion, Ty, a son of their Congress Champion stallion, Macs Good N Plenty. She is also being offered for sale after the Congress to make room for the new 2 yr olds that need to step up and fill her shoes for next year.

We would also like to congratulate “Ill Be Good N Plenty” on all of her successes this year as well. She started her year by winning the Circuit
Championship at the March To The Arch in the Novice Amateur and then won the AQHA Circuit Championship at the Reichert Celebration and the Anyone Can Win class at the Reichert, with rider Danielle Bernard. This team has also earned over 70 AQHA Novice Points with very limited showing. What a great year they have had together!

We wish we had enough space here to mention all of Mac & Ty’s offspring but we will only list a few:

  • “Heavenly Mac” most recently won the NSBA World Championship in Western Riding with her owner, Susan Knapp, as well as  winning the Reichert All Age Novice Non Pro with Anna Terry, and Reserve at the Reichert with Charlie Cole in the 6 YO Trail.
  • “Good N Dandy Mac”, owned by Barbara Steward, earned his AQHA Champion Achievement Award as well earning his AQHA Superiors in both Trail and Performance Halter.
  • “Givin Up The Goods” won the BCF and the NSBA World Championship titles for Amateur Select Western Riding with his owner, Karen Zarda
  • “Macs Good N Flashy,” owned by LeAnne Rivet, won the Reichert AQHA Green Trail, piloted by Charlie Cole.

Watch for Ty Dyed and Ill Be Good N Plenty at the 2011 Congress in both the Non Pro and the Open Western Pleasure events. In addition, watch for many more “Mac” and “Ty” offspring in not only Western Pleasure but HUS, Western Riding and Trail.
