For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country. BBBS strives to develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is not your typical organization. They help children realize their potential and build their futures. They nurture children and strengthen communities. Big Brothers Big Sisters targets the children who need them the most, including those living in single parent homes, growing up in poverty and coping with parental incarceration. Starting something begins with finding a great match between a Big and a Little. Making these matches, and performing all the background work involved with them, is possible because of donations from people like you. At DeGraff Stables, we couldn’t make these donations possible without the support of our stallion owners! We wish to thank Seabreeze Pleasure Horses, Ironwood Acres and the HBF Iron Man Partnership whom along with the many other owners around the country whom donate breedings to the many futurity program that help fund the show prize funds. The mare owners that purchase these reduced rate breedings are additionally appreciated for their participation as the offspring are able to accumulate valuable earnings.
SPECIAL FOR JUNE!!!!! Don’t have a mare to breed in 2011? All of your mares are already booked for 2011? Purchase an available Futurity in 2011 and carry over your breeding in 2012! Pay the Futurity portion of the Futurity in 2011 and 1/2 of the Booking Fee which immediately gets donated to the June Charity Program of Big Brothers Big Sisters and use your breeding in 2012! In 2012, you will be responsible for the other half of the booking fee plus any shipping or pick up fees as apply!
