BOWLING GREEN, OH – The Invitation, a 2010 Congress Sire Champion & Superior Western Pleasure, was acquired by two Bowling Green families in 2010. Joint owners Jestin & Tiffany Shank, and Jeff & Heidi Palmer, are partnering in the venture with strategic direction from AQHA industry legend Shorty Parks, who was awarded the Jack Benson award in 2004 for his impact in the NSBA and equine industry. “We are excited to have a stallion of this caliber to cross on our broodmare band, and with his great mind, wonderful movement, and strong conformation, he will be a great asset to our farm and to breeding programs across this industry,” said Jestin Shank.

Previously owned by Susan & Stanley Scott (2006 AQHA Breeder of the Year, Haylo Farms) of Ocala, Florida, The Invitation is a 1997 bay stallion whose sire, Invitation Only, was an All-time AQHA Leading Sire in 2010. His dam, Ms. Hot Medicine, is a World Champion producer.

The plan for The Invitation is to stand him in Ocala, Florida at McDuffie Quarter Horses. Don and Brenda McDuffie’s facilities have served many great sires over the years, including Rugged Lark. “He’s a great addition to our Stallion Barn. I’ve watched his babies for years, and they are balanced movers, with a great mind,” said Don McDuffie.
