Wellington, FL- June 26, 2012The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Western Finals will be streamed in real-time Thursday through Saturday (June 28-30) from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Watch over 200 IEA student-riders in action as they compete as part of the NRHA Derby.  You can see the ribbon ceremonies, too.  Visit the IEA website on Thursday, June 28 to see the competition schedule for the weekend.  Log on to NRHAderby.com and select the arena (either COLISEUM LIVE WEBCAST or ADEQUAN ARENA LIVE WEBCAST) to view the live-stream of the Finals.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the IEA was founded to promote and improve the quality of equestrian competition and instruction available to middle and secondary school students. Its purpose is to set minimum standards for competition, provide information concerning the creation and development of school associated equestrian sport programs. IEA also aims to promote the common interests of safe riding instruction and competition and education. Through the IEA, students have the opportunity to earn scholarships towards their college education.

The IEA is an affiliate of the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA), United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) and the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA).
