WVQHA Stallion Service Auction and Stallion Incentive
The West Virginia Quarter Horse Association and WVQHA Breeders Futurity would like to announce an exciting new opportunity for stallion owners participating in our annual stallion service auction held annually at our show in September. Beginning this year, any stallion owner choosing to donate a breeding, and whose get are showing at the futurity, will be eligible to receive our newly established “Premier Sire” Award. This award will be presented as a cash incentive to the stallion owner whose get earns the most money at the show. The “Premier Sire’s” owner will receive a check in the amount of $500 from the WVQHA Breeders Futurity, as well as a plaque in recognition of their accomplishment at the conclusion of the show. All results are reported to Equistat and Robin Glen pedigrees.
The monetary amount may increase each year, depending on entries.
“We have so many generous stallion owners who donate to our program every year and we wanted to give them a little something back! We are proud to have many great stallions involved and hope to increase the donated breedings this year,” said Renee Seidel, with WVQHA.
