Reichert 2012 Western Prospect Yearling Sale Off to Solid Start

Im Lazy
Im Lazy Now Owned by Susan & Bill Knapp

Now a couple of hours in, the Reichert 2012 Western Prospect Yearling Sale is off to a solid start with several yearlings selling for well over $40,000 each.  As a follow-up to our notice about the two embryos (https://www.showhorsetoday.com/latest-news/embryo-opportunities-at-saturdays-reichert-yearling-sale), consigned by Darol and Karen Rodrock, to be included in the sale, it was exciting to see Embryo #1 sell for $45,000 and Embryo #2 sell for $22,000.  These are all unofficial sales figures.

Also, a special congratulations goes out to Susan and Bill Knapp of Knapp Farms on their purchase of Im Lazy, a 2011 Sorrel Filly by No Doubt I’m Lazy and out of Shes On Holiday, for $84,000.  There was a lot of buzz around the show about this special filly, previously owned and raised by Stanley & Susan Scott.

Today promises to bring even more excitement at the Reichert Celebration, and we’ll continue to bring you the latest as it happens!
