Aggie Super Circuit Quarter Horse Show Announces Results

April 8, 2014, College Station, TX— The Aggie Super Circuit Quarter Horse Show, hosted by the Brazos Extension Horse Committee, boasted 3,149 entries, surpassing last year’s numbers by more than 200.
The event that took place April 3-6 at the Brazos Expo featured a full slate of open, amateur and youth classes, and the Texas Quarter Horse Association Champion of Champions classes, where novice riders in first through third places qualified for the American Quarter Horse Association Novice Championships in either Las Vegas, Nevada or Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Fun for exhibitors included a “horse and rider selfie” contest on social media where the photo with the most likes received a western picture frame and gift card, and social media “hide and go seek” with prizes for the first person to find a hidden wooden horse. In addition, the exhibitor party on Saturday night featured fajitas and a scholarship fundraiser for Texas Quarter Horse Youth Association where “Dessert Divas” Nancy Cahill and John McDaniel served baked goods for tips, raising over $1500 for scholarships.
The Aggie Super Circuit is a fundraiser event that supports the equine and agriculture industry in Brazos Valley by giving back to the community in the form of equine related grants, scholarships, educational seminars and short courses, and buyer support at the Brazos County Youth Livestock Show.

The Brazos Horse Committee is a group of dedicated equine enthusiasts committed to education, service and leadership in the Brazos Valley. The committee aims to serve and help horse owners and horse enthusiasts of Brazos County.
