Many Fun Events Planned at the 2014 AQHYA Ford Youth World

2014 Youth World Show ArtworkThe 2014 Built Ford Tough American Quarter Horse Youth Association World Championship Show will offer many fun activities for exhibitors and spectators alike when the show takes to Oklahoma City August 1-9.  For those not competing for world championship titles, they will get the opportunity to “test ride” an American Quarter Horse.

From 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, the Certified Horsemanship Association will be offering free test rides in conjunction with the 100 Day Horse Challenge, sponsored by Time to Ride.  Parents can take pictures of their children during their test ride and post to social media channels using the hashtag #100DayHorseChallenge.

Those attending the Ford Youth World can also attend various free clinics taught by AQHA Professional Horseman that gives insight as to how these professionals would approach a rail or pattern class.

Additionally, there will be Paws for Causes, a dog rescue day also taking place on August 3, a college fair, and many more events throughout the 9-day schedule.  For a complete list of events, visit www.aqha.com/youthworld.
