AQHA Region 2 exhibitors are preparing for the upcoming 2014 Merial AQHA Region Two Championship. The show, slated for September 18-21 at the Central City Fairgrounds in Rapid City, South Dakota, provides American Quarter Horse enthusiasts a chance to test their horse-showing skills.

This Merial Regional Championship features four days filled with an assortment of classes, ranging from fast-paced pole bending to reining. Bob Kail, Chele McGualy and Lisa Moden will judge the event.

“We are looking forward to this exciting event where American Quarter Horse lovers can gather and show off all of their hard work,” said Charlie Hemphill, AQHA senior director of shows and new events. “The large amount of classes offered and fun activities throughout the show are a great opportunity for those attending to gain experience and knowledge.”

Exhibitors at this regional championship have the opportunity to partake in a long list of classes. Included in the schedule of events is a session focusing on trail, with AQHA Team Wrangler member and AQHA Professional Horseman Marty Oak Simper.
