2014 AQHA World Show Commences

2014 World Show Artwork.ashxExhibitors at the 2014 AQHA World Championship Show saddled up and brought their A-game to the show pen for the first day of stiff competition in Oklahoma City. Classes began at 1 p.m. in the Jim Norick Arena at State Fair Park with prelims in junior and senior pole bending, junior and senior barrel racing, plus amateur stake race.

The AQHA World Show has a variety of events and activities for competitors, friends, family and spectators, including free Nutrena Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinics taught by AQHA Professional Horsemen. The first Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinic, featuring horsemanship, will be tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Performance Arena. Other free clinics this week include trail, hunt seat equitation, ranch horse pleasure and showmanship. See the AQHA World Show schedule for the tentative list of clinics and times.
