The Georgia Classic is showcasing a new schedule along with new events for 2014.  The show, which starts December 4th and runs through the 7th at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry, GA, will offer Pleasure Driving (new for 2014), 6 judges, a flat rate of $300, and Circuit and Hi-Point awards.

According to GQHA Executive Secretary, Lisa Lee, stall numbers are already look strong, and after last year’s 1,700 entries, this looks to be another great show.

For those showing halter, you only have to get your horses ready once as all halter will be shown Saturday morning following Showmanship in the climate-controlled Sutherland Arena.  On Saturday, two rings will be going with the bulk of the events (Showmanship, Halter, Pleasure, and Horsemanship) showing inside and the trail classes running at will in the outside covered pen to keep things moving along.

This show has been known to have strong numbers, great awards, and friendly competition, so it’s not one you’ll want to miss!  Once again, Mark Harrell’s team will be managing the show so everyone is sure to have a great time.
