Lazy Illusion and Jay Starnes, Champions in the 2015 Tom Powers Triple Challenge Maiden 2YO Sale Stakes Open Western Pleasure

PleasureHorse.com and Show Horse Today congratulate Jay Starnes and Lazy Illusion, Champions in the 2015 Tom Powers Triple Challenge Futurity 2 Year Old Sale Stakes Open Western Pleasure!  The team loped their way through the mud and puddles, and in front of an appreciative crowd, to first under three judges.  Lazy Illusion is by Lazy Loper and owned by Kathrine Tobin.
Taking Reserve Champion in the class was Gil Galyean piloting Special N I Know It, by One Hot Krymsun, and owned by Gary and Susan Dempze.

In the Limited division, Extreme Moonlite took home the win, owned and piloted by Becky Galyean. Jamie Murrow and Just About Certain, owned by Brenda Trammell,  were named Reserve Champions.

The class followed a heartfelt and very touching tribute to Tom and Dominique Powers, led by leaders at the NSBA Trainers Crisis Fund.  Tom and Dom were thanked for their generosity and hard work.  They were appreciated for their willingness to try things that are suggested by exhibitors and other members of the equine community, and for their many contributions to our industry.
