Hunter Under Saddle, Western Pleasure and Trail BCF, Get of Sire Champions Named at NSBA World Championship Show

coverThe NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity continued Tuesday in Tulsa, with futurity champions named in Hunter Under Saddle, Western Pleasure and Trail BCF events as well as the show’s Get Of Sire class.

Beth Case started the day with a futurity championship with Not Just Anyhoo for owner Rebekah Kazakevicius.  It was the second futurity win for “Horton,” who won the BCF Three Year Old Non-Pro Hunter Under Saddle on Monday with Kazakevicius.

“He was really good,” Case said of the gelding, who is by Hot Ones Only. “He’s always a very cool horse. He trots good and he lopes really good and has a great top line.” Its Al Over and Kristy Starnes took the reserve champion award.

It took two splits and a final to determine the winner in the BCF Four to Six Year Old Limited Non-Pro Hunter Under Saddle, which saw 27 entries show. Willy Has Potential took another futurity win, this time with owner Shelby Ratliff in the irons. Beth Case had shown Willy to win the BCF 4-6 Year Old Open Hunter Under Saddle on Monday. Taking the reserve title was Sensational Asset and Sarah Goldstein.
