It’s now easier than ever to make your Paint Horse eligible for more than $50,000 in annual payouts through APHA’s popular Farnam Pleasure Stakes program—simply consign your yearling Paint to the 2016 Farnam Breeders’ Trust Select Yearling Sale from the comfort of home, and wait for the hammer to fall during online bidding November 2–7.

No long hauls means less expense and risk for consigners, and participation still makes your horse eligible for the APHA World Championship Show’s Farnam Pleasure Stakes classes at age 2, 3 and 4. Bidders from around the country will shop for their next Western pleasure or hunter under saddle prospects during the first-ever online Farnam Breeders’ Trust Select Sale, taking place November 2–7 and managed by Professional Horse Services

Consignments for the online sale are now open.

Almost any Breeders’ Trust-enrolled horse can be consigned to the 2016 Farnam Breeders’ Trust Select Yearling Sale. Both Regular Registry horses and those in the Solid Paint-Bred Registry who have two Regular Registry parents are eligible for consignment now through September 15. Consignors/owners must be current APHA members in good standing. Consigned horses are not required to travel to Fort Worth for the sale; all horses stay at home, and prospective buyers can access photos, videos and other information during the preview period prior to the online-only sale. Watch for special Farnam Sale events during the 2016 APHA World Show, too!

An $800 stakes fee is due at the time of consignment submission (the entire fee goes into the 2017 Farnam Pleasure Stakes 2-year-old class purses). A consignment fee of $500 will be deducted from the sale proceeds; a commission of 8% of the sale price will also be assessed on horses sold and repurchased (no sales) with a minimum fee of $150.

Consignment to the Farnam Breeders’ Trust Select Sale is the ONLY way to make your Paint eligible for the Farnam Pleasure Stakes classes in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Classes include the Farnam 2-Year-Old Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle stakes (both offered with a Limited Division as a class within a class) and the Farnam Non-Pro 3- & 4-Year-Old Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle stakes.
