Super Sires Longe Line – Showcases Supersized Talent

StanleyThe 2018 Super Sires Yearling Longe Line class was held Friday morning at the Tom Powers Show.  The Super Sires program continues to grow in popularity and the entries in the class showed significant growth over 2017. In 2017 nine horses competed for the purse and title, but in 2018 sixteen incredibly talent yearlings were shown. VS Code Blue and The Rock were represented heavily in the class with five VS Code Blue Yearlings and four by the Rock.

It was a stand out morning for Haylo Farm. Stanley showed the stunning VS Code Blue Colt Comin At YA Blue to the championship after winning the tie breaker with Nancy Ditty and How Do You Figure by How Bout This Cowboy.  The stunning filly shown by Nancy, is special to Haylo Farm as they owned both her famous dam and sire at one time.  Haylo Farm will take home over $9,000  for their yearlings efforts in the pen this morning.

IMG_9401Super Sires was designed to promote the breeding of Western Pleasure horses and to encourage the Non Pros with classes specifically for them. Judgin by the quality of horses presented in 2018, the program’s vision is coming to fruition. With over $20,000 awarded in today’s class it was a great day to be a Non Pro.

The Scott’s outstanding day continued with the Open Longe Line. This time the tables were switched and How Do You Figure with Kathie Kennedy took the blue and Comin At YA Blue with Scott Kesney were reserve in a phenomenal class of open longe liners.
