Frosty The Goodbar is a 15.0 H AQHA/ARHA stallion by Zippos Mr Goodbar and out of Invest A Step. This accomplished stallion has himself had a successful show career including AQHA Superior Junior Western Pleasure, AQHA Superior Amateur Western Pleasure, and is a two time AQHA World Show Qualifier.

Frosty has sired multiple point earners in Open, Amateur, Amateur Select, Novice Amateur and Youth Western Pleasure.  Several of his foals are featured below…

Shez Been Frosted, a 2005 red roan mare by Frosty The Goodbar x Story Brooke Impulse

“Little Penny” may be small in size but she is big in show presence. This gorgeous mare has been a stand out in the pen since she was in the yearling longe line. As a 2 YO she was Res. Champion in the Amateur Western Pleasure with Donna Hendley at the North American Quarter Horse Show. Later that year she was purchased by Lorretta Magnuson and the two have been rocking the Select Western Pleasure and are nearing their Superior. Trainer Eric Petersen and “Little Penny” were the Circuit Champions in Green Western Pleasure and Champion of Champions at the 2009 Minnesota Masters. The three continued their winning in 2010 and in 2011 adding Green Western Riding and granddaughter Lorretta Bowser to the mix. Lorretta and “Little Penny” were Circuit Champions in Youth 13 & Under at the Corporate Challenge and Congress Finalists in Novice Youth Western Pleasure. In 2012 Loretta and “Little Penny” were the Circuit Champions in Novice Youth Western Pleasure at the Corporate Challenge. Watch for these dynamic teams in showmanship, western pleasure, halter, and western riding.

“Palmer,” who was born on Palm Sunday, is  a member of the family for the Johnsons of Minnesota, extremely laid back and friendly he won everyone’s heart. He and Caitlin Johnson started out in 14-18 showmanship together and have been a dynamic All Around team ever since. In 2010 they qualified for the Youth World in Showmanship and were 12th in 15-18 Showmanship at the Congress. Palmer was also winning Green Western Pleasure with Jodie Ploog. In 2011 Caitlin and “Palmer” were Quarter Finalists at the Youth World in Western Pleasure and Congress Finalists in 14-18 Showmanship. Now in 2012 the pair are winning 14-18 Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, and Showmanship, All Around and Res. All Around Championships.

“Madeline” was the 2011 NSBA World Champion in the Limited Non Pro Western Longe Line and NSBA Res. World Champion Non Pro Western Longe Line with Alex Conger. Hear The Money Talk, a 2009 mare by Frosty the Goodbar x Invest in Pretense

“Faith” was the 2011 Congress Champion in the 2 YO  Open Non Pro Western Pleasure with Whitney Ward. This dynamic duo were also the Scottsdale Classic Futurity Champions in 2 YO Western Pleasure. “Faith” was also the Scottsdale CLassic Futurity Res. Champions in 2 YO Western Pleasure with trainer Josh Robertson. A great 2011 made Whitney and “Faith” the NSBA 2011 2 YO Non Pro Western Pleasure Res. Champions. Watch for this talented mare in Amateur, Junior, and 3 YO Western Pleasure classes with Whitney Ward and Josh Robertson.

A Frosty Touch, a 2005 gelding by Frosty the Goodbar x Big Buys Maggie

“Bobert” and new owner and trainer Lainie DeBoer are making a splash in the over fences circuit. At the Huntfield AQHA Derby Series in KY, Lainie and “Bobert” we the High Point Open Horse, winning a total of 15 classes. They were Circuit Champions in Green Working Hunter, Progressive Working Hunter, Open Working Hunter, and Senior Hunter Hack. They are currently Top 5 in the nation in four events, leading the nation in Working Hunter and Green Working Hunter. Watch for this talented pair at large circuits, the Quarter Horse Congress, and the AQHA World.
