MDR Impulsive has sired multiple World and Reserve World Champions, Top 5 and Top 10 placers at the Pinto World, APHA World, Pinto Congress, and APHA Congress, among others. This 15.1 H, 2000 AQHA/APHA/PtHA Stallion, sired by A Sudden Impulse and out of Ms Dee Reynolds, was listed on APHA’s 2011 Leading Sires list. MDR Impulsive has sired some impressive winning foals. He is owned by Heinie and Donna Hendley of Ironwood Acres in Maple Plain, Minnesota.

“Elroy” was a star at the 2011 Pinto World with new owner and rider Jaclyn Sturgeon. The pair were World Champions in Youth Jr Hunter Under Saddle. 3rd in the Youth Jr Western Pleasure and Res. World Champions in Youth Bareback Western Horsemanship.

This Is The Juan, a 2007 triple registered mare by MDR Impulsive x Miss Goodzip

“Limone” is a gorgeous mare with Open and Amateur Halter points in both AQHA and APHA. She has multiple Grand and Res. Grand Championships as well. Limone and Alex Conger have been winning Green, Junior, and Amateur Western Pleasure in AQHA and APHA.

Lil Miss Impulse, a 2005 triple registered mare by MDR Impulsive x Miss Goodzip

“Bubbles” is a APHA Superior Amateur Western Pleasure horse with owner Heidi McGuire, she also earned points in Junior Western Pleasure, and Youth Western Pleasure. In 2010 she was the Pinto World Res. World Champion in Open Western Pleasure. And as a yearling she was undefeated winning the IQHA Breeders, IPHC Breeders, MPHA Select and MPHA Open Yearling Longe Line with Penny Sandvig.

“Cozi” was a stand out two year old in the Western Pleasure, earning his ROM with trainer Monte Ruden at his first show in Junior Western Pleasure. Later that year, he finished his Superior in Western Pleasure and went on to be APHA’s Honor Roll Leader in 2 YO Western Pleasure. As a three year old, “Cozi” continued his success in APHA becoming the Honor Roll Leader in 3 YO Western Pleasure. “Cozi” is now winning Amateur Western Pleasure with his new owner Dina Deakyne of Delaware.

Xperience The Impulse, a 2004 double registered gelding by MDR Impulsive x Miss Goodzip

“Chompers” was a remarkable horse from the day he was born. He is extremely quiet, friendly, and trainable. He was shown by Baron Knaus, in the Equine Chronicle Color Classic at the Reichert, where he placed seventh overall. Following that show, “Chompers” went on to earn his Superior in Western Pleasure, earning over 100 APHA points as a two year old. He then went on to have a successful Youth career with Bailey McGuire earning points in Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, and Showmanship. The duo placed tenth at the APHA Youth World in 2009 in Western Pleasure.
