During Pink Out, November 18 at the 2014 AQHA World Championship Show, the AQHA partnered up with Rein in Cancer and Shorty’s Caboy Hattery to raise money for the Shirley Bowman Nutritional Clinic at the Oklahoma University Cancer Institute in Oklahoma City.

Nearly $4,000 was collected in raffle tickets for a $5,000 Swarovski-crystalled 100X cowboy hat, while additional proceeds were collected from the sale of Frisbees. Approximately $1,000 was collected in from the audience pre-Frisbee toss, where purchasers could toss their disc at a mini covered wagon in the middle of a Tim Kimura-designed trail course. The two closest winners each won a 100X hat from Shorty’s.
