The day began with Kenny Lakins earning the futurity championship in the BCF Four to Six Year Old Open Western Pleasure aboard Best Ticket In Town for Stanley and Susan Scott.

“This is Nancy’s horse, and she’s pretty special,” said Stanley Scott. “She’s out of Nancy’s Troubles A Blazin mare. She had a great go today.”

Blake Britton wore a lucky tie to win the Intermediate division of the class aboard The Only Leading Lady for Todd Yoder. “She just keeps going,” Britton said. “We won the Limited Three Year Old class last year, and it’s great to be back here again.”

Kathy Kennedy was on the lead to unanimously win the futurity title in Breeders Championship Futurity Open Color Longe Line showing Withouta Doubt for Darlene Morawski.
