WACO, Texas – The University of South Carolina remains the nation’s top team in the latest National Collegiate Equestrian Association national team rankings, it was announced Tuesday.

The Gamecocks continue to hold the nation’s top spot following a win at UT-Martin that improved their record to 11-2. Georgia stays put at No. 2 after defeating Mexico State last week, and Oklahoma State remains No. 3 following a road win over Texas A&M.

Auburn holds steady at No. 4 following a win over New Mexico State last week, and Kansas State moves up one spot to No. 5 after the Wildcats beat TCU over the weekend. Baylor also moves up one spot this week to No. 6.

New Mexico State drops two spots to No. 7, and Fresno State holds steady at No. 8. TCU remains No. 9, and SMU remains No. 10.

The 2014 NCEA National Championship will take place April 17-19 in Waco, Texas.
