Northwest Emerald Shines in Washington

Washington’s record days of sun continued over our last state affiliate circuit, the Washington State Quarter Horse Association Northwest Emerald. Sunny days September 4-7 brought smiles and fun in the sun, complete with showing in an outdoor show pen at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe.

The week was jam-packed with hospitality. Pilchuck Veterinary Clinic of Snohomish, Washington, hosted the daily morning doughnuts and coffee for guests to start each day. 

Friday morning was festive with a champagne brunch hosted by Genny Miller and Denise Callahan. Fresh fruit and mimosas set the tone as we headed into another day of sunshine. 

The Washington State Quarter Horse Youth Association hosted a caramel apple feed Friday afternoon in appreciation for the generosity and support they receive throughout the year.
