AUBURN, Ala.  – Auburn junior Allie Dusha was named the SEC Reining Rider of the Month, the conference announced Monday.

“Allie has been working extremely hard on her riding,” head coach Greg Williams said. “She is getting better and better, and in our practices yesterday, we had that in our discussions. She is going to be a force to reckon with now and in the future.”

Dusha helped lead Auburn in its upset victory over No. 3 Baylor, defeating Maddison Smith 67-65. At New Mexico State, the Batavia, Ohio native topped Jaimie Story, 69-67. Dusha closed the regular season with a 71-0 victory over Texas A&M’s Sarah Kate Grider.

Dusha and the Tigers return to action Friday at the SEC Championships against top-seeded Georgia in College Station, Texas at 9:45 a.m. CT.
