Professional Horsemen’s Online Auction a Huge Success

aqha-pro-horsemen-logoThe American Quarter Horse Association Professional Horsemen’s Council raised $21,620 for the AQHA Professional Horsemen’s Crisis Fund through an online auction that took place during the 2015 Lucas Oil AQHA World Championship Show.

The highest selling item, a breeding to Allocate Your Assets donated by Katherine K. Tobin, sold for $2,425.

There were a total of 48 items submitted to the auction, ranging from tack and apparel, lessons and educational material, breeding’s to top stallions in the industry and more.

In addition to the online auction, with the help of AQHA Corporate Partner Nutrena, $2,647.50 was also raised for the Professional Horsemen’s Crisis Fund at the Nutrena Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinics at this year’s Lucas Oil World. Professional Horsemen collected donations at each of the clinics and Nutrena matched the donations raised at the show.

The AQHA Professional Horsemen’s Council thanks everyone who donated to the AQHA Professional Horsemen’s Crisis Fund at the Lucas Oil World. The AQHA Professional Horsemen’s Crisis Fund provides assistance to AQHA Professional Horsemen who have suffered sudden and demonstrable hardship or disaster of a severe and unexpected nature or from serious physical illness.
