The Premier Missouri Cancelled

We are disappointed to have to share the news that The Premier Missouri, which was scheduled for April 23-26 at The National Equestrian Center in Lake St. Louis, Missouri has been cancelled.

Based on the CDC’s recommendation to slow the spread of coronavirus, last night (3/15/20) St. Charles County, home of the National Equestrian Center, placed a ban on all events and gatherings with more than 50 people in attendance for the next 8 weeks. We have been carefully watching the current situation unfold and had hoped to be able to move forward with the show as planned but given the recent restrictions enacted by the county, as well as the closure of many major retailers and businesses and the cancellation of schools, church meetings, major sporting events and other national events all across the country, there is no way we can responsibly or legally move forward with the show.

No checks or credit cards that were sent for stall and RV reservations for The Premier Missouri have been deposited or run. Checks will be returned to sender and credit card forms will be shredded.

All Premier Sires Limited Series money that was scheduled to be paid out at The Premier Missouri will still be paid out this year. We are currently working to decide whether that money will be paid out at The Premier Kentucky in May or at another show later this year and will keep you informed as decisions are made. Although we will continue to closely monitor the situation, at this time we are planning for The Premier Kentucky, which is slated to run May 27-31 at the Kentucky Horse Park and be managed by Broke Girls Equine Event Management, to go on as scheduled and continue to be amazed by the response we have received to this show so far!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take this virus and the recommendations of the CDC seriously. If we all do our part to social distance for the next 8 weeks to slow the spread of this virus than hopefully we can all return to life as normal soon. Our ability to resume horse shows and other activities depends on the decisions and actions that each of us takes now.
